Hello again. Looking to add a raymarine ev 200 autopilot.  Does any one have one? Handle a de 32 well and how did you  fab up a tiller arm to connect the drive unit?

So the rudder shaft on my de 32 diameter is 1.85 inches seems to be hollow stainless. I orderd a buckbalgonquin split head tiller arm that is 1.75 shaft diameter and had a machine shop bore it out and add 2 set screws. The split head is necessary if you dont want to take the shaft out. Its about 400$ solid bronze 15" long it needs to be cut to 10 and a .5" pin hole added to the end. I plan on mounting the ev200 mechanical drive behind the quarter birth bulk head. Il post updates
