I am the new owner of Downeaster 38 #109. Cutter rig. (This is my second Downeaster)

I'm looking for ideas for cockpit seating. Other than throwable cushions, etc. Any owner out there install a captain's chair, or bench seat along the stern rail, etc? Would love to see pics if you have. I saw pics of a Downeaster 38 "Kuhela" that had fixed swivel chairs port and starboard of the companionway. Neat idea but I am looking for other ideas. Especially anyone that installed a fixed/removable captain's chair.

Thanks Scott. As a matter of fact, the previous owner had a couple on board. (just need more beans)

I found a website for Downeaster sv One Love where he built a custom helm bench. I found the website thru a Youtube search for Downeaters. The owner has a kite vid of his DE. Really cool. (think he has since sold the boat)
