I was notified that someone was having problems viewing the content on a page of the website.  I have verified on one computer that IE seems to be having major
problems displaying parts of the website. Please bear with me while I
try and figure out what is happening.. You should be able to view the
site fine with firefox from mozilla.com untill I get this fixed. If anyone is having issues in other browsers please let me know. Without people telling me stuff is messed up, I might not notice an issue for some time.. In this case it has probably been broken for weeks as I don't normally use IE.

thanks from the webmaster

Scott,

I was having trouble with IE, and have switched to Google Chrome.  What a difference!

I had, some time ago, tried to post some pictures, particularly in response to the request for profile-under-sail pics, but couldn't get it to work.  I'll try again with this browser, when I get home.

Best, and thanks,

Doug Mentuck

Thanks for the update... I have figured out what the problem is but the fix might be a bit in the future.. I'm not sure of my coding skills to fix the php application that the site runs on. Someone that does know was kind enough to tell me what the problem was.. 🙂 just a bit of code that IE being non complient with standards can't display correctly.

I know that a lot of people have had issues viewing the website
lately. That should be fixed now. The code for the last upgrade caused a
bug in IE to not display the site correctly because of a ( " ) sign in a
comment on a post. Something so simple that brought the whole site down
in IE. I could really hope that Microsoft would start writing standards
compliance into IE but am not going to hold my breath.

It took a while to track it down but it is up and working again
thanks to the help of the theme developers that built the theme we are
using on the website. I kicked them a few dollars for their help as they
were gracious enough to spend some of their valuable time looking at
our problem. I was pulling my hair out about it.

Thank you everyone for your patience while this was resolved. As
always if you are having a problem using the site or see something that
is wrong let me know and I will do my best to get it fixed.
