At this point I'd be happy with close up shots of the whole arrangement because something tells me, I'm going to have to make the boom.

Also measurements of the staysail?  I have not yet found a copy that I can read off well.

Thank you all in advance.

I don't have all the measurements in front of me but think the staystail boom is 12 feet long.. I will try and get some pictures up but am pretty hammered right now with stuff going on. My web time has become pretty limited.

I was going to buy a new one. Zspars in Florida was going to sell me a scratch and dent special for 200 dollars complete plus shipping. They will have ones that someone ordered and didnt pay for or that have cosmetic flaws or maybe one longer than you need that is damaged and can be cut down to the size you need. They generally will have very good deals on these.

Sorry it took me 5 months to notice your post.  I have a Staysail boom off my DE45 which I replaced with roller furling.  It is 13' 3" long by approx 3" X 5" made by LeFiell Spars   I can get the specs for for the DE45 staysail off my blueprints if you need them.    If interested you can email me at jgfloans@pacbell.net

Sorry about this thread dropping through the cracks. The company I listed above was wrong it is http://www.usspars.com/

You can call them and ask about their specials. They quoted me about 200 for the boom to replace my existing on on the staysail on valkyr DE38. they had one in with a scratch in the paint I believe. This was a  couple years ago and I didn't buy it then though.

The boom is 12'1" long.

For some reason I don't seem to have written down the diameter but I think it is about 6 inches.
