Invited by Captain Sebastian Watt and Elizabeth Perkins to crew aboard their 1941 45’ Philip Rhodes yawl Shalamar in the inaugural Annapolis to St. Michael's Elf Classic Yacht Race on 05.21.2011, I flew in from Florida … and, despite the 3:00 pm race cancellation due to lack of wind, a good time was had by all.

Shalamar, who won the Best Dressed Yacht Award, is docked at the MD Yacht Club, Pasadena and in the slip immediately astern is … the DE 32 Atigun.

Look at the main sheet.  Isn't that the original setup from the drawings?  Different than the end-of-boom setups I've seen elsewhere.  Also where's the chainplates?
