Just figured out how to upload photos.  I thought I'd put up some of  "The next generation".

As you can see, I get very little time at the helm now!

I can't swear to it but I'm pretty sure that the captions are close to verbatim.

The three they call "Badness"!  They tell daddy where we're going!

"Ok ...I'll tell ya where we should go for the picnic...I'm navigating"

"Do you think we should wake Mom and Dad up yet?"

At least it's not raining...much

They are way too cute 🙂 It looks like they enjoy the boat.

we are now expecting our first in about a week. 🙂 I'm already planning training her to love sailing 🙂

Congratulations!

Yeah, our girls love the boat.  We've had them on the water since they were really young.  We have a little Nordica 16 that is destined to be their own little "training yacht".

The girls are 5, 6 and 9 now and it's amazing how fast they learn.  I don't have to say a word when we're coming back into the slip...they ask "port or starboard daddy?"  Then fenders are out and lines are ready!

I work on a deepwater semi submersible oil rig and half of the guys out here have trouble with port and starboard!  We had to take one of the lifeboats out for a run the other day and it took me 10 mins to explain using fenders while tieing up to a support vessle.  I told everyone on the lifeboat they would be taking lessons from my daughters!

Well good luck and sleep now...while you can   🙂
