My wife replaced the gaskets on our DE38. She doesn't remember the part number but she says it was purchased at west marine. It sort of has a D cross section with the flat side having a peel off strip and you then stick that side into a grove in the portlight frame. You join the ends at the top side. So start sticking it on at the top middle and then go around the whole frame and meet backup at the top and cut it flush so that the two ends meet flush. I would pull a sample off one of the portlights and take it in with you. She says it was in a pre-measured pack and that she was able to do 2 or 3 portlights per pack. She thinks she paid about 13 or 14 dollars per package three years ago when she did it.
