I have been looking for some nylon line I could afford for anchor line, dock lines, storm droug lines etc.. Everyone was wanting 600 to 900 dollars for a 600 ft spool of 3/4 inch 3 strand line. I finally ran across and talked with two companies that had very good pricing. I listed them both on a new vendors page. http://downeasteryachts.com/vendors
One is a manufacture and to give a comparison they had 1/2 inch 3 strand nylon for 99 dollars for a 600 ft spool. 219 dollars for a 3/4 inch spool of 600 ft.
the other was a company called pack and seal that had 1/2 for about 160 dollars for a 600ft spool and 320 for a 600 ft spool of 3/4 inch. Pack and Seal is in New Jersey somewhere and the manufacture in Maryland. I have put what Info I have up and will put more up as I get it.
The manufacture also had some great deals on spools of polypropylene if you wanted floating shore lines etc...
just a heads up.
