If you will check your profile and go to personal options it has an option to auto subscribe to topics you post in, also if you are creating a new post/topic or answering on one you can even if auto subscribe is not selected, chose to subscribe to the topic right below the text box that your are filling the body of your post out in. One of the options is subscribe to topic.You should receive an email when a reply is made in that topic. In the future simply ask if you feel there is a feature that you need that isn't apparent. It might or might not be available but I will be able to let you know if it is available.
