More pictures to come, but what started as a panel replacement turned into quite a bit more work.  I ended up doing most of the main wiring and all of the AC system.  For anybody who's interested I have a whole gallery I wanted to cut into a Youtube video, but I figured I'd post picture of the finished work.

Would you be willing to share your wiring diagram and some of the challenges and information you learned from this?

My boat has been sitting in a marina neglected and unloved for almost a very long time in a fresh water lake.

Pulled out all the rotted wood, cleaned mildew out and pressure washed all the moss and lichen, of course the wiring is a mystery of multi colored spaghetti, looks like instead of replacing wires the PO just added. Therefore any information you would be willing to share would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a link to the page with the DE38 owners manual on it, which has a electrical diagram of the stock electrical system in it.

Scott, I had no idea that existed.  I wish I had a copy of the diagrams before I started.  lol

Manukai, if you have any questions feel free to send me a private message.  I'd be happy to take calls or share my personal email.

Scott,

Thank you for the link, I at least I may be able to decipher what was original and what was auto parts store wiring additions.

Patrick,

I will send a PM with my email and will appreciate the assistance.

Manu Kai refit will be a long journey from being an unloved and neglected shell to be restored to the fine jewel she used to be and will be again. The electrical is just one of the many systems in dire need. The factory A/C has been restored, mold and mildew mostly cleaned, cabinets to get built back in, trying to have someone get the engine running, the original Farymann R-30. 120v A/C works, no 12 volt yet, cushions should be complete soon. etc...
