This comes from the Catalina forum which uses Universal engines as well.
DE32 Oasis currently has the Universal 5424 (also known as M30).

The standard engine in the DE38 was the 5432 (M40) there is a lot of info on the page above about the M40 however we don't have a huge amount of info about the M30. If anyone has more info such as part numbers for filters and other common stuff as well as crossover number for common parts it would be great to add that to the engine info page.

For the Universal 5424 on Oasis:
I use the following engine-mounted spin-on Fuel Filter: Universal 298854, I have only found it online.
I use the following engine-mounted oil filter: WIX 51374 or NAPA 1374(no longer avail?) or Carquest 85374, available from auto parts store.
Oil: 5.0 to 5.5 Quarts. I use Shell Rotella T1 straight grade heavy duty engine oil SAE 30 rated CF2,CF
The pump/impeller is Oberdorfer 202M-07. The impeller slides off the shaft after the front clip-ring is pinched & removed. The impeller has one flat edge as a key for the shaft.

I have a Hurth Transmission HBW-2R. It uses 0.55L transmission oil (1.3 pints). I put in automatic transmission fluid Type "A", change every year or every 300 hrs.
Fresh water Radiator uses coolant 50/50 solution total 6 Quarts. I have not changed it yet.
I don't think I have any info on the alternator.
Heat exchanger is (?) and uses a pencil zinc of (?)
