I want to thank everyone that offered suggestions on different topics for the start of our work on s/v Isabella.  We have completed electronics, painting of mast, transducer, new electrical panel, seacock service, cleaning and waxing of the hull and new water line stripe sanded and painted.  We moved her from Oriental on Saturday with a total of 7 inches of snow falling.  We made it but should have known when a barge ties up in the ditch - maybe we should have stopped.  She is now in the hands of the canvas folks with new canvas and a new look.  Peter and the sailmaker (Omar Sails) will install the traveller and new sails this weekend.    We ended up painting the mast with automobile paint.  Brushed it on, looks GREAT and was an easy process.

Again, thanks!   We'll post photos once  the work is complete.  Now we just need some warm weather and wind to go with it![Image Can Not Be Found]

Scott

We have not made any firm plans except to work as hard as we can and get things done to the boat before it gets warm.  Not the best weather but we wanted to be able to be out on the water as much as possible.  I'll send pics in the next couple of weeks.  Canvas should be completed next week and then we have to get back to Matthews Point.

Thanks for all the help and support![Image Can Not Be Found]
