I just bought Misty Dawn for 23K and just can't get that smile off my face. There were two others on the market at the time and both of those were in the low to mid forty's. Thanks for the buyers market everyone,[Image Can Not Be Found]
Just for reference sake- this is Wunderlust- there are pictures on this site under the section 'The Boats'; DE38s', individual boats. Congrats on Misty Dawn! I'm sure it's in better condition than Wunderlust or you wouldn't be smiling. Can you post some pics when you have time to the Boats section or have Scott move them to a profile for your boat? We'd all love to see her!
Mike- looking hard but not yet finding- soon I hope.........
Sorry... It's... really... hard... to ... type and DANCE like a fool!
The owner had it listed at 27.5K but he needed a quick sale so I helped him out.
Yes, it is a 32. I singlehand so this size is perfect for me. Lots of the right gear aboard and being owned by and engineer for over 25 years shows in some of the details worked out. She has been well used and love by a sailor, thank God. She is in great shape other than the brightwork which is covered, I and I mean covered, thick with that, "C" product of which I should not mention the name of as I am to poor to sue. Did I mention that he used it everywhere, in and out. Poor guy must have really loved that stuff or a shareholder. He did save a lot of money on tape I might add.
My scraper has just been sharpened and I have a date with a toe rail
