Bill,

you should throw some more details out here if  you get a chance, even a picture or two. Pictures are worth a thousand words 🙂

There was just a day or two ago a guy posting that was looking for a 32 in california I believe. ( he might be a bit far away though for that sail 🙂

Scott: I am looking for a 32, and did had a conversation with the gent that has the DE32 for sale in S. California. I asked him for photo's in advance of my driving quite a distance to see the boat, but he has not responded. That was around 1 week ago. Perhaps he felt it was not necessary to post pics either at his online classified ad or to send to an interested party. This kept me from further interest.

I see the one listed for $37k but it is beyond my budget...darn.

Thanks,

OS

That is sad. Lack of pictures + a lack of response = a suspicion that there is stuff wrong with the boat. It could be that he is just really busy or hasn't taken pictures. Hopefully that is so and he will post some soon. However he isn't going to sell the boat over the internet easily if he doesn't step up to the plate with some pictures.

keep checking.. I keep posting boats I find up here and more and more owners are starting to list their boats here also. You will find what your looking for eventually. The downeaster's are a great value in todays economy. The prices are reasonable for a solid boat.

If  any of you find boats listed on the Internet that are not already on here feel free to post them and a link to the listing on the Internet or send a link to me and when I get a chance I will post them up.

Scott: Thanks for the follow up. I'll know if there's a post to this thread and of course will keep searching on the web. If I turn something up I'll let you know or post it here.
