I will most likely move the site to a pay for host in the next year or so and will probably do that then. I've been trying to keep it so that I don't need to hit everyone up for donations for as long as possible.

Scott - if there's a cost problem perhaps we could ask members for contributions ? When we had a Peterson 44, their site needed funding and members made voluntary contributions every now and then and it always worked out OK.

So I just checked the website around 7pm and couldn't log in or get any response from the server. I was finally able to get in and found that it was being hit so fast that it was tying it up. Sadly the server doesn't have a huge amount of resources and I had to block a search engine spyder and restart apache to get stuff running again. I keep thinking about just hosting the website on a comercial server which will increase performance of the website significantly. More speed on the server and more bandwidth.. But right now it is not costing my anything to host and I have full root access to the server so can do various and sundry custom tweaks to everything if I want to.

Anyway it should be accessible to everyone again.
