I would say it should be closer to 36 inches or a hair farther from top of cabin. I would have to measure but I seem to remember it  hitting me about waist high  when standing on the cabin top. maybe a bit higher.

Can anyone tell me if this is the "normal" height for the boom on a DE 38?
