Cool. Are those Lexan plates? Are we seeing through to the inside of the tanks in that pic?

Also, can you say where the baffles are in those tanks? I seem to recall someone saying that they issues installing access plates because of the baffle locations.

So if I understand, you installed access hatches into the top of your existing water tanks large enough to access the interior for making repairs? I tried the link but can't access any photos.

My forward tank has a really slow drip leak and I have ceased using it entirely until I can figure out a game plan to fix or replace. My thoughts were to remove both tanks entirely cut/extend (join) the hatches as one long access hatch and replace with a single long rectangle polyethylene tank as large as I can fit into the opening. It would  reduce the total gallons a bit but that would be fine by me.

The previous owner new of this problem had used some kind of food grade sealant that was applied to the interior walls and corners of the tanks. This seemed to work for him for about 5 years up to the point of me taking ownership.
