I am going to replace the wooden Spreader on my DE38.The mast will not be removed.
How do I support the middle section of the mast once the spreaders are out ? I am afraid the mast might bend in the middle.

Plan is to make new spreaders out of teakwood.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
