We are getting ready to start designing changes to the running rigging and staysail. Maybe go from a 135 jib? to a 110 or 100 and move the staysail to roller furling with a self tacking boom with a traveler and mainsheet setup. On the main we are looking at either a arch with a traveler on it or mid boom sheeting on the cabin trunk. Not sure how it will all end up but we are hoping for easier handling and maybe a bit of a performance increase. Going to a smaller head sail should let us sheet in inside the lower stays and hopefully get us a few more degrees of pointing ability. Not that she does real bad now 🙂

What experience do some of you long time owners have with their boats and how you have them configured. Ideas that have worked? Ideas that didn't? It would be nice to not re-invent the wheel but to pick up where someone else has left off.
