        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>Seems to have worked well on valkyr and if anyone had cared I&#039;m sure it would have been changed by now 🙂 I put a LED in our existing fixture there. If doing it from scratch I would get one of the totally sealed LED bow light fixtures.</p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>Thanks Scott. Mine&#039;s a 1975 and it&#039;s got the lights about 4 feet back from the bow on each side. Well, one anyway.  I&#039;d heard there was a rule about this regard beam size, but I guess I got it wrong. I think I&#039;ll remove the one and fill all the holes and mount a single red/green right at the end of the bow.</p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>hmm.. never even heard that there is rule about it. Our boat has a single fixture that is red and green mounted dead center on the top rail of the bow pulpit. As far as I am aware it has been the same fixture for at least three owners and possibly from the factory. I have never seen signs of a previous installation of separate  red and green lights.</p>
