These are what we have. I believe they are the stock windows in the galley and over chart table. We have never had a leak or anything from them. We did when living aboard put window film over the inside attached to the teak trim ring. Really helped with cooling or heating of the boat.

I replaced the 4 big windows with 8x22 bronze opening ports. from nfm also the 4 others with 7x15 bronze opening ports. All from nfm. Not cheap ,very pleasing to the eyes and hopefully very waterproof and permanant. I had to fill in the holes that the big windows were in. Filling them in was very easy since the glass is set into a race which makes them easy to do. I did all 4 in a day. As far as the little ones I just went bigger so I only had to cut new holes..if you go on Alibaba they have bronze opening ports for dirt cheap these are the ones nfm sells. I just never figured out how to order them .

Thanks, Jim. I'll attack that port light in the head. Good idea to clean out the drain holes. That could be the problem.

The others aren't too bad in terms of leaks although they aren't beautiful.

Am no fan of the DE 38 port lites. Exspecialy the large windows in the saloon. Still haven’t figured out how to stop those leaks. Did make some storm shutters out of lexan, held on with bolts and T nuts.

One easy, and unusual fix I had was with the bathroom port. It has some drain holes on the outside, which can clog up,and caused my leak.

Thanks, Scott. I'll look at mine more closely. Maybe I can seal it somehow to stop the leaks. Maybe I can do without the sliding panes and make them water tight.

Changing them out with any other type looks like a long, hard job. The fixed windows seem to be all tight.

Still, I'll keep on exploring what's available. Bronze would be rather nice, but probably over the top price-wise.

I really dislike plastic frames... which leaves aluminum, stainless or bronze. Ours are original I think and are a enameled? some sort of tough coating on bronze I think. Can't complain about them as they are tanks and still going strong. I would do stainless or bronze personally. Not sure what brand to recommend though.

In addition to my two leaking seacocks, the recent rains have revealed other leaks. One is pretty clearly from the opening port light in the head. This must be a common issue so I wonder what are the good replacement port lights. I see that NFM is "preferred" but very expensive. What others are there that don't cost so much?
