Could you pull the hull number off the boat and post it. It isn't listed yet. Also your boat is a cutter rig correct?

Just looked and the registry isn't updated with our info yet.  Owners Hilary Helkenn and Travis Gilbert  S/V Mongojo, DE 38 hull #220. Email sailingwithmongojo@gmail.com.  Formerly Morning Star of Bodega Bay and before that, I believe "Rainbow" of Florida?  Possibly, but I don't have any information on the owner.  I know that the last owner brought the boat here from Florida, via Caribbean, Guatemala and the canal in 2009.  Boat is currently in Benicia, CA, undergoing refit to head back south and back to the Caribbean.  [Image Can Not Be Found]  Will be the third trip thru the canal. 

You are now the official owner of record for Senta on the downeaster site.. I still had the browser open to the page to edit the registry and am waiting on the last coat of non-skid to dry before the next coat so got to you quickly.

And Eric is the standard for excellence in rebuilding/refitting DE 38's !!! IMO

I have updated the owner and hull registry with your info. I am starting something new with your update in that I am leaving old owners names and boat names in but showing yours as new owner and boatname. I figured it would be nice to have some sort of history to follow the boats and who has owned them as opposed to just the newest owners.

welcome to the community 🙂 I have been refurbishing our downeaster 38 as well.. though not to the extend that Eric is doing so. He's a mad man.... 🙂 I don't have nearly that much energy to rebuild her from the ground up.. This week we are putting new non skid on our decks. 2/3 done as of yesterday... Trying to work up the courage and energy to fight the heat and work some more today. There will be a write up before long on it with pictures.

I had tried once before to update ownership of my vessel,but didn't make it.  DE 38 hull number 179,now named Return Trip,is owned by my wife,Sara Bierbaum,and me,Irving Priest.  Hailing Port of Concord,Vermont.  She was previously Gypsy.  We've owned her for 3 years and have yet to get her wet because of a series of events.

If you could update the registry,we would appreciate it.

Original owner thought to be Noah Longwell (1978 - 1994) who circumnavigated 1988 - 1993.  Home ported San Francisco until about 1993, then San Diego

2nd owner name unknown but lived in Arizona.  Ownership believed to have been 1994 - 1995.  Home port San Diego.

3rd owner Karen L.   1995 - 1997  Home port San Diego

4th owner Tom Uter & Diane Deneen   1997 - present   Home port San Diego
