I believe that the fittings are standard pipe fittings you can get at any hardware store. Probably brass and not the best for aluminum tank etc. However as my boat is now 45 yrs. old and the fittings appear in good shape, I guess they have stood the test of time.

I would be more concerned about the big bundle of wires that go over the starboard wing of the fuel tank and the possibility of getting the bottom of the tank wet from bilge water. As my tank is a few inches above the bilge and I try to keep a dry boat, I haven't had much of a problem with the aluminum tank from these possible minefields.

I got some moller dip tubes t are aluminium 90s with a hard type of plastic dip tube. I haven't pulled the old ones out but for some reason I think they are an off size female fitting.

I'm going to swap out the bronze fittings on my fuel tank. I don't have corrosion on the fuel tank and bronze is a no no with aluminium. So I assume these are a p. O. Install. Looks like I have hydraulic line going to the racor fuel filter. I got my calipers out and I'm seeing these are 5/8 bronze street 90s that are threaded into the tank. I assume the ports on the tank are factory. So McMaster and Google it seems I can't. Find 5/8 aluminium fittings. Looks like they go 3/8, 1/2, 3/4. Any insight? Here's a pic of the tanks take offs
