However I am just living with it as I don't know what else to do. We also are putting a solar panel over them and eventually plan on redesigning it all so that we can raise the main sheet also. 🙁 the mainsheet is an accident waiting to happen the way it was designed from the factory.

I want to lift the dinghy and also have a bar for supporting solar panels and wind generator but I want to fit in with the aesthetics of her shape.  I also have a problem with the mounting of the mainsheet block and have been injured by its proximity to my head at the helm and would like to position pad eyes maybe to the davit to lift it in height. I have always lifted the dinghy on deck and have solar panels hanging off the side rails but would like to tidy all this up.
