I just wanted to give our members a heads up that http://www.sunelec.com will be having a limited sale on 210 to 220 watt solar panels for 78 to 88 cents per watt. They have the panels listed on their front page but when I called they said they wouldn't actually be selling them till Monday.

That's a lot of solar capacity for a unbelievably low price. The downside is that you are going to have to ship them by pallet which is expensive unless you can go pick them up. The panels are going to be roughly 3+ ft wide and 5+ft long and weigh in at around 40lbs each.

I think I am going to try and pick some up. If anyone is interested in sharing shipping costs and can come pick them up near Myrtle Beach SC then we might be able to set up a group purchase that doesn't kill any of us on shipping.

I have the ability to take paypal, credit cards or cash 🙂 for paypal or credit cards I will add the percentage they charge me for the transaction to your total price. For paypal I think it ends up being about 3%, for credit card it is 2.75%,

of course this is all contingent on me being able to actually acquire some of what looks like a fairly low quantity of available units. The quantity listing shows that they only have a couple hundred of them.
