        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>only suggestion is that the material be a bit on the heavy side and very strong. You give up a bit of light wind performance but that stay sail is one of your heavy weather fall backs and should be specd to deal with heavy weather.</p>

<p>My 77 38 had all new sails done by the previous owner from Mac Sails Inc. Stuart Florida 34997. <a href="http://www.macsails.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://www.macsails.com</a></p>
<p>They would be familiar with our Downeast 38's if its any help. They also replaced all of the standing rigging with new as well.</p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>It's time for a new set of sails. I need a new staysail first. I removed the self tracking boom and I have an alado nautica unit a2 furler on the way. I have a few quotes from 1800 to 800 $ and material from Newport challenge ap, challenge warp speed and marblehead. This is for a new furling sstaysail. Was wondering if any one has any input on the material type. And if any one has a picture of the best place to put the  blocks for the clew?</p>
