I think a good Idea would be to make a cast from someone who has the scroll work (Jason, Me, maybe more)
then from the cast pour resin and make it from scratch then paint it. Sounds crazy, but I think it could work.
I have a 38 I don't know if the scroll work is a different size. Ill measure mine this weekend to see what it is.
Maybe Jason could measure his...be worth a try no??

I once watched carpenters from Barcelona putting up what looked just like the scroll work on the DE's
It was semi pliable and they tacked it into place on a curved ceiling then let it dry in place and then gold leafed it..
Was a joy to watch..anyway thats what just gave me the idea of making a cast LOL

Ours are warped and need to be pulled off and redone. I have thought about trying to fix them or maybe just taking them off and painting the decorative scroll work back on the boat. I think they are a high density foam maybe? I'm not sure. However I have never been happy how they were installed. Just long wood screws through them and then all the way through the hull. The come out in the chain locker so any water ingress is to there but still it wasn't the best of choices.

I believe that they are called trailboards.

Not sure exactly what to call the boards on each side of the Boat stem, that have decorative inlay on the wood? But mine on the Port side fell off. Anyone know where to start on locating a replacement?...or how to make replacements? Should I just get a couple of pieces of hardwood and try to locate some raised letters?..numbers?..dragon figure...open to all ideas. Appreciate it.
