This makes servicing the batteries and water pumps nearly impossible. Hence I am considering cutting an access port in the bulkhead that separates the starboard quarter berth from the engine room. Has anyone else done this? Should be easy enough, but would the hole weaken the structure? Since there is no bulkhead on the port side I would think not. Opinions?
