My solution to stuff like that was a small bilge box that I could drain shower, anchor lockers, ac condensate etc into . Keeps bilge dry and pumps stuff out of boat forward in vberth. That location wouldn't work well for fridge but you could take a gallon heavy plastic bottle and run drain to it and put a really small bilge pump in it. mount low in engine compartment or under sink floor and have it pump up high under sink into sink drain. Overly complex for such a small thing but would cost less than 40 dollars for small bilge pump, small hose and what ever fittings needed under sink.. oh wire also to give it power 🙂 Maybe just get an inline pump mounted under fridge that pumps to drain of your choice high above waterline 🙂 and you just run it when needed. No reservoir other than bottom of fridge. 🙂

After looking closer, I found the sink drain thru hull is actually above where the condensation line will exit under the galley floor from the space between the engine and lower removable stair. Rats!!!

I have a bone dry bilge and want it to stay that way. I'm wondering now if I shouldn't just put a small drain thru hull exiting the hull adjacent to the A/c unit above the water line (below the A/C drain frame) . The hull slopes up out of the water and might drip relatively straight into the water without running down the outer hull surface.

I put the A/C in the wet locker under / behind the nav station (below captains berth) Lots of hull access there for overboard AC water without running it back thru the engine compartment to the original overboard thru hull. I want to be able to walk up to the boat on the dock and see the water running. The original overboard is right above the water line almost under the curve of the hull on the port side and can't bee seen unless from directly behind.

You might be able to just be careful to check how low the bottom of the fridge is so that you don't accidentally have water flow back into the fridge from outside the boat. I've never checked but I think the bottom of my fridge is actually below the water line. It's close one way or the other. Not sure all fridges were created the same Though.

Is there any reason I couldn't connect my A/C condensation line to the sink drain rather than dump it into the bilge then have to pump it out? Provided I can find the right size y connector that would work.
