        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>true its much easier than some.. reaching the stuffing box though? that is a major pain.. You have to lay on top of the engine and hang down behind it. I&#039;m 6&#039;2" and have long arms and I can barely reach. It was a major pain a couple years ago when we repacked ours.</p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>Thanks Scott.. That pretty much means I need to change the oil and filter. It&#039;s got about 50 hours on it and won&#039;t be run much for at least another 6 months.</p>
<p>Oh joy. But I guess I should get used to it now. At least access to the engine on a DE 38 is very ample.</p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>Sorry for this seamingly simple question, but the manual I have does not mentions this. I have a Perkins 34 horse diesel and was wondering how many running hours do people run their engines between oil changes? I&#039;m guessing that the make is not the critical issue. So I&#039;d like to hear what people are doing in this regard. </p>
