]]> Thu, 06 Nov 2014 09:12:29 -0500 Patrick Twohig on Fuel Tank Update http://downeasteryachts.com/forums/engines-and-such/fuel-tank-update#p2675 Engines and Such http://downeasteryachts.com/forums/engines-and-such/fuel-tank-update#p2675 Nearly two months later, we finally got the new fuel tanks installed in the boat.  The mechanic cut out the old tank and took it to a fabrication shop where they made them in three pieces plumbed together as one.  Two triangular tanks that go up the port and starboard side as well as one square tank that goes deep into the bilge.

 

No need to cut up the furniture or anything.
