Here is pictures of someones fold up table 🙂 or drop down table on a DE32. I am going to build something just like this only with it able to rotate to allow for adjustment to the angle of heel of the boat and with about a 6 inch deep shelf unit behind it that is the same size as the table. The table will close up over the front of the shelves. 🙂 also I plan on a small wood burning stove underneath it with the chimney running up through the shelves and then to port before going through the deck. 🙂 that will be a later project.

This is on our to do list also. We removed the stock table a year or so ago and love the open feeling with it gone. I am planning on building a drop down replacement but haven't gotten around to it yet. No design so far .... I am planning a wood burning stove that I will build that sits under where the table will attache and until I design that I can't design the table that will have to work around the stove.

Has anyone converted the port settee to a u shaped drop down table? The table in the center of the boat takes up so much space. I know that some Downeaster 38's had this design, but I'd like to know if anyone has made the conversion, and can help with the design and modification.
